

ABOUT Frida
Frida Hudson-Persson, also known as Frida Labeija, is originally from a small town outside Göteborg, Sweden. She has been living in New York City for over 12 years, working as a dancer, a choreographer and a movement coach.
Recently cast as a contestant on the hit HBO series “Legendary” (Season 3), Frida had gained a lot of experience in the dance world, through bookings and opportunities such as:

In the summer of 2022, Frida was featured in the project "True Beauties" by Photagrapher Myles Loftin, at Galerie Kitsune in New York City and Paris.
In the summers of 2016 and 2017, Frida was the lead choreographer for the Gothia cup opening ceremony, the biggest youth soccer cup in the world, that saw an attendance of about48,000 audience members and about 150 dancers. She also choreographed the Partille Cup opening ceremony, which is the world cup of handball.
Frida found her love for voguing and ballroom about 12 years ago. She has been a member of the Royal House of Labeija (the first ballroom house ever) for over 10 years, competing at balls , performing and choreographing. Her main vogue category is “Oldway”.
In addition to her continued work as a choreographer and a voguer, Frida is also working as a dance instructor. She has taught at renowned dance schools such as Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Alvin Ailey, Peridance, among others She has also held dance workshops internationally, in countries such as Germany, England, Israel and Sweden.
What is Frida up to nowadays? Currently, she’s performing and choreographing shows, hosting dance mentorship programs, as well as private sessions.Her goal is to to challenge her clients and to encourage them to explore the power of movement.
